AUTHOR EVENT
From Possession
to Self-Possession: An American Muslim woman's
story about her journey to freedom. The nonprofit
English Center for International Women at
Mills College is hosting a book reading and
reception for Samina Ali, feminist and local
author of the popular new book, " Madras
on Rainy Days".
The event will be held on Tuesday, October
18 from 5:30-7:30pm in Reinhardt Hall B on
the Mills College campus. The English Center
has been helping men and women realize their
potential by providing English, computer skills,
and career advancement opportunities for over
25 years. Fabulous international refreshments
will be served and there will be a tour of
the educational center. Admission is free;
$10 donation is requested to help cover costs.
